Manchow soup is a soup popular in Indian Chinese cuisine due to its easy preparation and hot spicy taste. It is available in many restaurants and street food carts alike. It is also known as Manchuria.
Manchurian Soup is a very hot spicy and tasty Soup. It is a dark brown soup prepared with various vegetables, cornflour, and flavored with generous doses of soy sauce, salt, garlic, chili peppers and, ginger. It may be either vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Because of vegetables, its other name is veg soup.
Today I made veg Manchow Soup, easy to make and very tasty. You can serve it just before the meal as an appetizer or Indo-Chinese main course like fried rice and noodles. Ingredients (like Soya sauce, chili powder, salt, black pepper can increase and decrease as per your taste. I am using Capsicum and spring onion but you can use other vegetables also as per your taste. you may add other ingredients apart from veggies like paneer, Tofu, and mushroom. Making process will be some for additional ingredients and makes sure to chop them finely.

Ingredients
- 1 tsp cornflour
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp oil
- Finely chopped capsicum
- Finely chopped or grated carrot
- 1 tsp Soya Sauce
- 1 tsp Red chili Sauce
- 1 pinch black pepper
- Salt as needed
- Kashmiri Mirch as per taste
Directions
- Firstly, heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Set gas on low flame. Add chopped garlic and ginger, saute for a minute.
- Add finely chopped capsicum, and spring onion for a minute. you can add any vegetable. I am using capsicum, and spring onion.
- Now add soya sauce and red chili sauce. You can add these ingredients more or less as per your taste.
- In a small bowl take 1 tsp cornflour and mix with ¼ cup water.
- Pour the cornflour slurry and stir well.
- Stir about 2 minutes, add black pepper and salt. Stir and cook until soup slightly thick.
- Now switch off the gas and keep aside about 10- 12 minutes until the soup will be a little warm.
- Finally, enjoy the veg man chow soup recipe topped with fried noodles.
