
Paneer or Indian cottage cheese is a fresh cheese common in the Indian subcontinent. It is a non-aged, non-melting soft cheese made by curdling milk with a fruit- or vegetable-derived acid, such as lemon juice. Its acid-set form before pressing is called chhena.
Paneer Do Pyaza is an Indian curry recipe. Basically, It is a Mughlai dish that is made of a lot of onions, crushes tomatoes, and paneer (Cottage cheese)cubes. So if you like onions, then this dish is for you. All spices give new flavor.
It is a restaurant-style delicious and vegetarian dish. It serves well with naan, tandoori roti, or chapati. Mostly whenever I make any paneer recipe, I usually serve it with naan or chapati. The combo of Naan and a paneer dish is a favorite at home.
Paneer Do Pyaza

Ingredients
- 250 gm paneer
- 100 ml water
- 2 big size onion
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp black cumin
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 2 small Cardamom
- Salt as per taste
- 2 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp fennel powder
- 4 big size tomato
- 1 cup curd
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
Directions
- Wash and cut paneer in the medium size pieces.
- Take a bowl and add curd, red chili powder, turmeric, salt coriander powder. Put this mixture in the above pan and set the flame to medium for 10 minutes
- Cut 1 onion in a different shape and fry it in another bowl for 2 minutes and add with the above bowl. Add fried paneer cubes also in the above pan and cover it on the gas



- Take a bowl and add curd, red chili powder, turmeric, salt coriander powder. Put this mixture in the above pan and set the flame to medium for 10 minutes.
- Cut 1 onion in a different shape and fry it in another bowl for 2 minutes and add with the above bowl. Add fried paneer cubes also in the above pan and cover it on the gas.

You can also add coriander leaves. Now Paneer do pyaza recipe is ready!
